We have been living in a condo for more than a year now. It does have its advantages and disadvantages. But I would like to believe I made the right decision so I always look at the benefits. 😀

VIDEO: Gab and Baby Signs
Here’s a video taken by my sister when Gab was just 16 months old. This is so far our longest video of with Gab and Baby Sign Language.
Gab turns 4 years old
Gab turns four! Gone are the years for Gab as a terrible three and a terrible two but I think there should be an equiavalent for four year olds.
Is it dirty Gab?
Kids love ice cream. But what about dirty ice cream?
When Gab was first offered some dirty ice cream by her aunt, he declined to buy one from the sorbetero.
We were not around at that time so we were not able to know why. Probably because it has the name dirty on it.
The following week, we were in the public plaza. We heard a bell ringing. Sure enough, it was a sorbetero selling ice cream.
“Gab, there’s a dirty ice cream! Let’s eat.”
I didn’t give him a chance to say no.
I dragged him to the sorbetero. I let him see the cone, cups and the different flavors. He was starting to show interest.
I remember when a sorbetes only costs me 1 peso per cone. For 5 pesos, they’d fill up a bowl already. Today, it’s 5 pesos per cone.
“Do you want it in a cone or cup?”
I knew he’d say cone. He likes it because it’s crunchy.
And now for his first lick!
Gab slowly licked the tip of the ice cream. He wasn’t sure about eating it yet. The ice cream was melting faster then he can lick. Some of it was already dripping on his hand and clothes.
Little by little, he’s starting to eat it like pro. He doesn’t mind the drips that is making a mess on his face and clothes. Quennie and I had to coach him which side is already dripping so he can lick it clean.
When he reached the cone, he was eating it fast. Quennie and I watched and he finishes off the tip of the cone.
“Did you like it, Gab?”
“Yes.”
“Was it dirty?”
“A little lang.”
I smiled knowing it won’t be his last cone of dirty ice cream.

Food is an acquired taste. What makes it yummy or yucky is a matter of personal choice. Gab’s choices has been healthy but I hope he eats junk food once in a while.
