Gab is so cute with his curls. Quennie and I like to keep it that way. Lately, I find his hair to get messy easily. I think a few month from now, Gab needs his first haircut.

So when is the best time for your babies to get a haircut?
- Think safety. This sounds like old wives tales but many barbers suggest when the baby turns 1 year old. This is more of a safety reasons since babies younger than one can move too much and risk getting cut in the wrong places.
- Getting on the eyes. Once the hair gets into the eyes, it is best to get a haircut. Or maybe just a trim. For baby girls, you may tie the hair instead to keep it away from the eyes.
- Gender confusions. When the boys looks like girls with their long hair, I believe it should be time to get a haircut.
- Aesthetics. When it’s messy and no longer looks cute, it needs some fixin’.
