Que and I love Vietnamese food especially their soup. The pho has a clean and healthy broth that soothes our tired bodies. That’s why when we saw the new La Petite Camille at Greenbelt 5, we decided to have an early dinner after our Christmas shopping. La Petite Camille is a popular Vietnamese Restaurant in Millbrae, CA and just opened recently in Greenbelt 5, Makati by the East Orient Fine Dining Corporation.
We ordered our favorites, the Chicken Noodle Soup and the Fresh Vegetarian Rolls. We also got an Avocado Shake for Gab and the Vietnamese Jell-O for me.
The Chicken Noodle Soup tastes great. I find the broth a bit oily but it was flavorful. Gab loves the pho as well. He ate a lot of noodles and drank plenty of broth. The serving was big enough for the 3 of us to share. I hope they give free refills of the broth but I guess there’s none.
Chicken Noodle Soup – 195 Php
Gab loves the pho
The Fresh Vegetarian Rolls was my favorite. I love the fresh ingredients of lettuce and carrots. The noodles were firm and were were bounded tightly together by rice paper. Eaten as is will taste bland. But it comes with the sauce that made the rolls alive with it’s sharp tangy taste. Quennie and I can’t finish the eight pieces of Vegetarian Rolls and had to take out half of it.
Fresh Vegetarian Rolls – 190 Php
DADDY TIP: Try eating the rolls whole in one big bite or else the noodles will spill out of the wrapper and will make it messy. 😀
I was disappointed by the serving of Vietnamese Jell-O becuase it didn’t look the same as the photo on the menu. The photo on the menu showed it like it was shaped from an oval leche flan mold. But actually, it was served on a small glass bowl. The Jell-O was compose of three layers of green, brown and white. Green for pandan, the brown was probably mocha since it was not too strong to be coffee and the white was probably milk or almond flavor. Gab enjoyed eating the green layer.

Overall, I love the pho and the vegetable rolls. I will definitely be back for it. The price of the food is just right. The place was spacious and the soft lights made the ambiance relaxing. A perfect way to end a long walk of shopping.
