Cookie cutters make great tools for food art. It makes shaping those food easier and faster. I used a bear cookie cutter for this one. It saved me a lot of time in preparing Gab’s meal. I added a parachute for these bears to complete the plate.
There are several cookie cutters to choose from. I got one that was less than 100 Php with five shapes already. I’ll make use of them in the next food art. I even found one set of cookie cutters that had the complete letters and numbers plus lots of shapes! Imagine what I can do with that. But for now, this cookie cutter set will do.
Food Art – Bear Paratroopers
Here’s what is on Gab’s Plate:
1 Fruits – Should have been some clouds but can’t make them white or blue for this food art.
2 Toasted Bread – This makes the parachute. I placed butter and toasted it on a flat frying pan. I can also use pancakes to make the parachutes.
3 Patch – It’s made of cheese and carrot strips.
4 Strings – I used nori again to make the strings that will connect the parachute to the bears.
5 Bears – They should look like Agent 007 without the suit. I used a cookie cutter to make the shapes and added a ribbon made with two cheese triangles. The eyes are made of nori.
I can definitely make more food art themes with a bear. Gab seems to like them a lot. I have other shapes too and I will use them soon. 😀
