I had a 14K run today at Team Logan HQ in Laguna. We went up to Nuvali which was a nice and clean route. We started the run at around 4:45. The wind was still cool and the sun was just starting to cast it’s first light behind the mountains. It was a good break from the polluted long runs in Manila.
Only Craig and I ran and we ran side by side except for the last kilometer. After KM13, I picked the pace a little and went ahead of Craig for a strong 14K finish.
While walking back to Craig’s house, I was hoping for Gab to be rushing towards me from the door and giving me a big hug. I was thinking that he probably missed me and was worried not to see me beside him when he woke up. With all the sweat from the run, getting a hug from Gab would soothe my weary muscles after a 2-hour run.
But I arrived at the door with no sign of Gab. Haaaaay… I must be expecting too much.
So where could Gab be?
I looked around the living room, the dining room and the kitchen but there is no sign of him. I guess he must still be upstairs. What could he doing there?
I went upstairs and open the door. Here’s the revelation.
Now I know why Gab was not at the door to greet me. He’s still knocked out.
Gab looks funny when he sleeps.
