Quennie would often beg me not to sing. She prefers to see me dancing than hear me singing. It’s that bad. 😛 But for some reasons, I am able to soothe Gab when I sing. Gab is a bit choosy though. He has some favorites.
Song #1 – “Tomorrow” from Annie
This seems to be Gab’s favorite. Whenever he is fuzzy, I would carry him and sing into his ears the song Tomorrow from Annie. It doesn’t fail. After the 2nd line, Gab would stop crying and be immersed in the song. 😀 Here’s my favorite version in Youtube. It has the Spanish subtitles. Mañana, Mañana…
Song #2 – “This Little Light of Mine”
This is a song I heard from the Angel’s Echo, children’s choir in church. I like it’s happy tune. And Gab loves to follow my fingers when I try to do the actions. It’s a simple song that kids will love.
Song #3 – “Que Sera Sera”
This is a new addition to my list. It a simple song that yaya can sing to Gab as well. It was effective the first time I sang the song. Gab likes it when I open my mouth wide at the chorus.
