In Gab’s Corner

Despite having a small apartment, we managed to dedicate one area for Gab. Welcome to Gab’s corner where his toys, books, and other stuffs are located.

This must have been the 3rd revision. We have rearranged the living room to make space of Gab. We bought a plastic table where he can sit while playing or reading. We bought new plastic containers to keep his toys and other stuffs.

The puzzle mat is for safety. It serves as a cushion in case he falls. For the record, Gab already fell once on his chair. The following day, I bought rubber stickers which I placed on each foot to make it less slippery. There has been zero fall cases after that.

Many people would be amazed when we say Gab likes to read books. Must be dad’s genes :D. That is why, the books are placed in a separate plastic basket without a cover so he can reach for them easily. It will be the first thing he sees in the morning when he wakes up. Thus, books would be the first thing he will play with.

I will still add more stickers on the wall on numbers and alphabets.

Warning! You can touch and use any of Gab’s stuff in his corner except for one — his chair. Try sitting on his chair and he will shake his head and pull you out of it while saying “Bab”. I’ve done it several times and I get the same response. But don’t worry, he will offer the other chair if you ask for it.
