Father’s Day at Chili’s Was Worth It

Quennie insisted we celebrate Father’s Day with a dinner in some resto in Makati. I was contented to stay at home and have something delivered. Or maybe I can cook. When she suggested Chili’s at Greenbelt, I thought it will be a great idea.

We were number #15 in the queue.  There were lots of customers as usual even if it was just 6:00 pm.  We waited for more than an hour which was fine.  They gave us a call when the seat was available.  We requested for a couch and that is exactly what we got.  Nice.

For dinner, I ordered my favorite Chicken Crispers.  I love these soft and golden brown buttered chicken from Chili’s.  It comes with sweet corn and fries on the side.  I love the corn.  I don’t like the fries.  But I finished them off anyway.

I also got the Buffalo Chicken Fajitas.  It tastes ok but not something I would order often.  The bleu cheese topping was a good contrast to the spicy buffalo sauce.  Quennie doesn’t like the bleu cheese.

We didn’t buy anything for dessert at Chili’s.  I find them too expensive.

While eating, Chili’s had a surprise for the fathers:  Chili’s mug and a Buy None Coupon.  A great gift.  the Buy None Coupon allows me to go back to Chili’s and have a serving of Buffalo Wings even without any purchase.  I might be coming back this week.  😀
