Product Review: Charlie Banana 2-in-1 Swim Diaper

Gab loves water and loves to go for a swim. During his summer outing in Boracay and in many times at the swimming pool, we used disposable diapers.  We noticed that disposable swim diapers easily get heavy as they absorb pounds of water. Plus they are expensive.

Gab is already a cloth diaper user and we have saved a lot for using them. And so we decided to get him a reusable swim diaper for his next swim.

Charlie Banana Swim Diapers

Here’s what we love about the Charlie Banana 2-in-1 reusable swim diaper:

1. Trim fit diaper.  It’s a non-bulky diaper and has an adjustable waist with ties to secure the fit.  Charlie Banana provides a guide for choosing the correct size based on weights.

2. Made from organic cotton.  The lining is made from cotton that provide softness and absorbency. It also has gusseted legs for comfort. As they are made from organic cotton, they are free of chemicals compared to disposables and therefore better for the baby’s fragile skin.

3. Attractive colors and prints.  Charlie Banana swim diapers come in may different colors and fashionable designs for both boys and girls. You toddlers will find them attractive too and would love to wear them.

4. Good Advocacy.  Charlie Banana supports Operation Smile, Inc., a worldwide medical charity that changes the lives of children suffering from cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.  Charlie Banana has committed to donating one percent of its global sales.

Charlie Banana  2-in-1 Swim Diaper is sold for Php750. These reusable and eco-friendly swimwear is available in Babyland, Mothercare and Baby Company stores in Metro Manila.

There are other brands of reusable swim diapers but they are not yet sold locally but are available at Amazon.com.
