My Top 3 Picks from Good Housekeeping January-February 2012

We love Good Housekeeping magazines eversince. We always look forward to reading the recipe section as the menus included are easy to prepare and quick to cook meals. We lost most of our magazines during Typhoon Ondoy and now we are again collecting.


Here are my top 3 picks (informative articles I like) from the first issue of Good Housekeeping for 2012:

1. One Day Diet Recipes* /Fast Love**.
* Though I’m not into dieting, the recipes are good alternative to healthy eating. The Mediterranenan-inspired dishes are mostly baked. Though the article is fros US Good Housekeeping, the ingredients are those you can easily find inside the local groceries. These recipes are perfect for those who want to loose weight.

** These are budget friendly recipes that are easy to prepare. Dishes included are for snacks, baon, and picnic food.

2. Supporting Act.This is a very helpful article for us ladies in knowing how to get the right bra – the variety of bra types and when to use them, how to get the right fit and measurements and care tips for this undergarment.

3. Good (enough) housekeeping simple solutions for simple living. This article provides aletrnatives to kitchen cleaners – and these are common household items! It includes strategies to keep a clean and clutter-free kitchen, and how to keep bacteria out of the fridge and eliminate unwanted odors.

Cover girl is Angela Lupango, one of the challenger for the Biggest Loser’s winner: Pinoy Edition. Also, the reality show finalists share weight-loss lessons not just to gain healthier bodies but an overall healthier outlook in life.
