May 2013 Philippine Elections: Online Precinct Finder

Philippines elections are gearing up as the 90-day campaign period for senators and party list groups started last Feb 12. This just mean that the May 2013 elections is just around the corner.

To prepare voters, first-timer or seasoned, for the big day, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has an online precinct finder in their website to help find the correct precicnt number.  It is also referred to as the Voter Registration Status Verification Page. This page provides additional way of verifying a person’s voter registration record.

 Access the Comelec Precinct Finder. Simply fill up the form with your full name and date of birth, then click Search.

The page will load your voter information and you will be able to find out your polling center’s complete address. It also comes with the google map for the location of the polling center.  The page will also provide your voter ID printing details.

There’s also a COMELEC Halalan 2013 App powered by ABS-CBN available for download on Apple devices such as the iPhone and the iPad, and on Android devices.
