Fisher Price Shapes and Colors Music Show

Here’s another great iPad App for Toddlers from Fisher Price.  Shapes and Colors Music Show helps your toddlers learn about colors and shape in a fun and cute way.  There are two levels but I prefer to stick to level 2.  I find the level 1 irritating and boring while level 2 is fun and interactive.

App Review

Bouncing shapes at Level 1.

Level 1 is just a bunch of shapes making noise everytime they bump into each other or on the wall.  I am not sure if they have a purpose but I am not enjoying it.  Neither does Gab.  Maybe if Gab is in the I-love-shaking-a-rattle-stage, he will appreciate level 1.  The sounds and funny movements can be entertaining for babies.

Level 2 has a song and dance will surely cheer up your toddlers.

Level 2 is suited for toddlers.  It’s highly interactive and educational.  You can press on each shape and it will say the name of the shape and the color.  There is also a 5-key piano that toddlers can press and create music.

The background is also full of surprises.  Touch the curtain and Doggie appears to say “peek-a-book”.

Look who’s hiding behind the curtains.

Colors and shapes takes the center stage.

What delights Gab and I is the nice song and dance number after touching about 5 shapes.  There are 2 songs that are fun to follow.  Even without the lyrics, you can catch up with rhyme.

Just like the other Fisher Price Apps for Babies, this app for babies and toddlers is just fantastic. And best of all, its FREE. 😀
