- Progressive Approach – I like how each levels are broken down from the simplest to the hardest. It doesn’t become too intimidating for the kids. You can stay on one level first and move up only when you are sure they have mastered it already.
- Cute and Simple Characters – The drawings are simple and they are not distracting. It helps the kids keep their focus on the learning part instead of just exploring the app.
- Multiple Activities – There are several approaches to learning being applied. There’s simple counting, then there is a number matching game and even a memory game. Each level is never boring.
CONs
- Too small for iPhone – Some games have boxes that looks small an iPhone. Counting what’s inside the box is sometimes difficult when they are too small already.
- No reset option – I was looking for a reset button where all activities or levels are “locked” again. I was using the app first and wanted to reset everything back to zero for Gab.

The Animal Math Games App is great in checking your kids progress on kindergarten math. The progressive levels helps me know where to start and when it is the best time to progress to a more difficult math concept. This is best used with an iPad so that the drawings are larger and clearer compared to using them with an iPhone.
